<div dir="ltr">At this stage you'd be better off just apt updating. The amount that the installer is going to change will/should be minimal. There's always a need to test the install procedure, though most people don't have that kind of time to do that type of rigorous testing.</div>

Back in days of old, I took a test area of 10.04 all the way from 1st iso release (pre-alpha) all the way to final release. However, as iso testing is to test if the iso actually installs, having the most up to date iso is needed for such testing. </div>
