To test it out you'll need the unity ppa from <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://launchpad.net/~unity-team/+archive/ppa">https://launchpad.net/~unity-team/+archive/ppa</a>. Add the ppa to your precise installation and upgrade. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unity-team/ppa sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade When you restart your session, you'll be greeted with a message box to invoke unity testing. Timeframe for testing is this weekend more or less. Starting Monday, the devs will be prepping it for migration to precise.
