Hi,

Downloaded it and MD5SUM from:-
http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/411/builds/209821/downloads

Checked with MD5SUM to ensure that the iso downloaded OK.

Installed it on my Dell Inspiron Tower PC. It only has 2GiB RAM. Chose the
"other" option for hard drive partitioning.

The dialogue box for that appeared on the top left hand corner of the
screen and was 1) very confused and 2) I eventually got it going/ All I
needed to do was use existing partitions, 1 as swap, 1 as ext4 / .

Install went pretty much OK after that.

Only used it to boot, go online with Firefox and use emacs to edit
/etc/default/grub to output boot info to the screen during boot-up.

emacs was slightly strange in that when I highlighted a block of text, it
was highlighted with a light grey background which I found confusing.

HTH,

Ian
