Why wasn't I notified that I was put on moderation??

No. I was told when my first account (teo1986 at gmail.com) was put on
moderation, but not when the second was (teo89765 at gmail.com), unless you
are talking about a comment of yours (or somebody) saying "Teo is STILL on
the moderation queue" (emphasys added), and at that point only the first
one was.

I can't seem to find a search engine in the archive. However I have
searched my gmail inboxes.
Besides, rather than casual comments within emails to the list (of which it
may even be possible I missed some when searching), I would expect to
receive a specific automatic notification, similar to the ones you receive
when you register, verify the account, etc.

Oh really? And how long after I have stopped being addressed should I
expect to be taken out of moderation?
