Laptop won't suspend with ext monitor - which package for bug?

Won't filing a bug against the wrong package take longer for a bug to be confirmed?

I would imagine ubuntu-bugs to be the best place for this question, but
this list isn't bad either.

For the question itself, if you don't have any idea which package is the
culprit, you can file a bug against 'ubuntu-desktop' or some other meta
package. This is also what I would do in this case.

Bug triagers will then go through the bugs and try to figure out the
right package. In any case, a bug reported against the wrong package is
better than nothing.
