Glad you want to contribute and help as new. For contributing to testing https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/ is a really good place to start. 

Actually the place where the introductory leaflet would be most useful would be in lubuntu-comms at lists.launchpad.net. As this will get to the people who care about outreach for lubuntu and possible ways to make it even better.
