Here is my quick and incomplete guide to contribute helpers to the toolkit:

After cleaning it up a little, it might be good to put it in a wiki page or
a file in the branch. Please give it a try if you want to start writing
helpers, and let me know if you find something wrong or just fix it on the
pad.
