Hi Thomas,

First, just to get it out of the way, please don't quote the entire digest ;-)

To answer your question, as Ali Linx pointed out, you'd probably do
better asking on a genreal topic list rather than this QA list.  That
said, I do testing as it is, including automated testing (both
functional and performance type) so feel free to send me an email

There is no easy answer based on what you've asked so far, there are a
lot of different things you can test or benchmark, and they need to be
considered individually rather than in aggregate.  Maybe I'll be able
to help, maybe not, but I'll help as best I can :)
