Scott K,
you seem to have lost your sense of humour?
Friday was the supposed release of pre-mile-stones so that testers could
have a weekend to 'play' with them. It has actually happened only for a
couple of flavours in the past. just not too often...
**Keep Calm
And
Keep Testing **
We, on QA / testing are used to it only happening rarely. It is not,
however, what the plan is. However, it is still an issue for people who
work during the week to actually get their hands on the pre-milestone
release when they have chance to test.
Had a call been made on Friday afternoon under the 'old system', I would
not have been able to state 'lubuntu goes to 13.04 Beta 1" i think we all
got a little diverted from 13.04 release schedule. As it happens, lubuntu
had all their proposed stuff in place and on time. There is an issue for
PPC as the iso is holding 4 kernels and is over size. I've been told that
this will be addressed by the Monday deadline for the ISO size.
On a different note, are kubuntu wanting to release a PPC image? I was
under the impression that lubuntu were going to herd PPC over to them.
Regards,
Phill.
