There are two bugs that are going to make my session extreemly difficult if
not fixed. Bug 1098080, where nothing happens if you have Vbox 4.2. and bug
1077158 which involves the lack of netboot in testdrive.

Is there anyone here able to speed up the process?

You should probably take a look at the SRU process [1] for the first bug 
since there is already a patch available, however since virtualbox 4.2 
isn't currently available in any releases that I'm aware of, I don't see 
this as a priority, and possibly not even a candidate for an SRU.

ok, it's a bug in testdrive, not Vbox. doesn't that change something?

I understand that, however, it still will not effect *most* users of Ubuntu.
