as i haven't got much time to go through bug reports this weekend, again the lazy option: both passed, but it breaks the gimp-icon in the launcher. starting it over the menu works. actually i found this to be the case on previous upgrades (but didn't worry much about it). i'll file / link a bug report if necessary (??).
