No, this is not the proper place.  This list is for QA related issues

There you will find the means to download Ubuntu.  It's a live-cd
meaning all you have to do is boot from it and you can try it out
without installing.  You can also install Ubuntu onto your computer,
either by itself or side-by-side with your current OS from this CD.

If you have questions, unfortunately, this is not the proper list to ask them.

Please try the ubuntu-users mailing list and for guidance in getting
started, try the ubuntu-beginners-team list, the online forums, and
the other places for getting help with Ubuntu.  Those methods can be
