Yes, I filed a bug now; #648776. Thanks for the guidance re. logs. I'd
like some clarification about the test case at
http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Testing/Cases/DesktopUpgrade. The
instructions about compiz seem out of place because mutter is used with
unity (replacing metacity) and all other effects are disabled. I doubt
that compiz works well on an Atom netbook.

Also, I've been using Unity for a couple of days now and have found a
few more problems that may be related to the problematic upgrade. For
example, telepathy crashed twice, Empathy now prompts about certificate
authentication (jabber), performance etc. Is it okay to continue filing
more bug reports?
