This is indeed the correct list, Welcome.

Ask away, currently there isn't much in the way of docs for testing
kubuntu, so basically install in vm/spare hardware, open each app ensure
it works, if you save anything make sure the data you saved did actually
save, etc etc etc. 

It's pretty basic really, another thing you might want to do is install
apps you currently use that aren't in the default install and ensure
those work.

Any bugs write on launchpad.  When writing bugs try and use "ubuntu-bug
appname" this collects a lot of data on behalf of you for the devs.
