Hello Tim, and welcome!

We are in the process of defining the new Testing Team and the 
activities related to it.

You can check the blueprint and its corresponding spec at

We will create a specific roadmap with tasks to perform.

In the meantime you can have a look to TestDrive, a tool to test Ubuntu 
in a virtual machine [1]
