Upgrading to Karmik by actualization

Hi together,

I report some problems upgrading via the normal (common user) way, by
actualization.
After downloading thew packages he reports an error because he cannot
clean the sw-package Skype who he claims to be noted for deletion.
Then actualization just stops.

Cleaning up with System -> Computer cleanup -> cleaning up all old
unused packages   helped finally.

PS. I am using Ubuntu since more than 3 years and am happy about it.
Specially since 9.04
