[Ubuntu-PT 8187] Problemas no boot..

Ola...
Estou com um problema no boot.. O Pc liga mas demora uma eternidade... O 
Problema parece ser a minha drive de DVD..
Uso Ubuntu 10.10 mas ja me aconteceu com todas as versões que por este 
pc passaram...

Abaixo posto o erro que me da. É exatamente isto que me aparece no ecra 
de boot se o fizer sem "quiet splash". Negrito esta o que me parece ser 
o fulcro da questão, sublinhado esta tudo o relacionado...
