[Ubuntu-PT 4331] Wireless não funciona

Agradeço uma ajuda porque apesar de ter subscrito o bug no launchpad (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/185470 ) até hoje o problema nunca foi
solucionado, pelo menos no meu caso.
Tenho um portátil ASUS  A6JC com o wi-fi Intel 3945 ABG.
No Gutzy funcionava com alguns truques no Hardy nem mexe.
