Por acaso não é uma lan party da dfi, não?

Tens um ou dois interfaces de rede?

Apaga as alusões às eth do /etc/network/interfaces e tenta usar só o
NetworkManager (pela nm-applet).

O teu interfaces só deverá ter:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
