placa tridente com xorg

    Olá, estou com problemas para configurar o Xorg numa máquina antiga que tenho com a placa de vídeo que
tenho. Consigo subir a interface gráfica mas ela fica restrita à 640x480 pelo Sistema -> Preferências ->
Resolução de tela não da para mudar isso. Se coloco o driver vesa a resolução fica em 800x600 mas a tela fica
zoada, com o movimento do mouse aparecem umas dirtoções na tela (muito estranho mesmo). Essa máquina tem o
Windows 98 em dual boot onde a resolução 800x600 funciona na boa. Estou mandando como esta o xorg.conf e a
identificação da placa pelo lspci. Alguém tem essa placa? Alguém saberia como resolver? Obrigado, Rodrigo.
