Why do you use Unity?

Well.. KDE is something i never liked. Basic Gnome was always good. But
Gnome-Shell is horrible.(Atleast I think so). But i like the direction in
which unity has started.
The missing links are because it has been written in such a hurry that many
things including themes element have been hardcoded. These missing links
will be covered by 11.10 and surely, unity will be perfect in 12.04.

And after all there is much more in an OS to tweak and play other than the
graphics manager.
