Różnica między APN WAP a APN Internet

Szukam odpowiedzi na to pytanie, ale w polskim internecie nie mogę
niczego sensownego znaleźć, znalazłem coś po Angielsku, więc jeżeli
znacie Państwo język angielski to będę bardzo wdzięczny za
przetłumaczenie tego postu:

When you use a WAP APN, then the traffic goes through a network
operator's (carrier's) WAP gateway.

The WAP gateway can and often will modify the data on the fly (HTTP
headers, even the actual HTML, images, audio files, etc.), and may
also have restrictions on which DNS addresses, IP addresses or which
ports and protocols in general, or what content types, are allowed
through.

With Internet APN's, operators do not generally impose such
restrictions (and the traffic does not go through their WAP gateway).

Try also some other network operator's SIM card and their WAP APN to
see whether there's a difference (i.e., it might be just your
particular operator's WAP gateway that's the culprit).

And then contact the network operator's customer service, and ask them
to explain what their WAP gateway allows through and what it doesn't,
and why, and whether they could change the configuration.
