Ubuntu-Pakistan Call for EOI: 2 Day International Workshop on "Emergence of Open Information Society in Pakistan" March 21-22, 2007 Lahore, Pakistan

Dear Community Members, 

Our organization network and international partners are organizing a two day
international workshop focusing on "Emergence of Open Information Society in
Pakistan" taking place on March 21-22, 2007 in Lahore, Pakistan. With the
goal to promote Open Information Society in Pakistan it attempts to
sensitize all stakeholders on information society issues and challenges and
relevance of Open FLOSSophy at national and regional level, debate on ICT
Policies, open content and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) policies and
practices in Pakistan. 

I have only a few seats left (8-10) for inviting more participation and will
have to be very selective with participant nominations (having a special
interest and work focus on ICTs with relevance to the concept provided
above). Kindly provide your EOI before the 14th of March 2007. I would like
