I think you can just ask questions and post the relevant errors in your log. Someone in this list will take a look at it and give you a piece of advice. I don't know about Novell's networking protocol, I think it was IPX/SPX or NCP. I believe it is not Samba that can talk to a Netware server(Samba's purpose is to talk to Windows computers), I think it is http://www.novell.com/products/clients/linux/overview.html.

Thanks. Is it okay to post here my logs. Though I had install Ubuntu Server 9.10 and configure Samba and everything works well for now. I had transfer some network folder from our Novell 3.12 server w/ a 10g HD. Yah, its 3.12( Super luma na talaga). I still cant understand some of the logs. Hope someone can tell that something is not right base on my logs.

You should have also subscribe to Ubuntu IRC or things like that where there are active users/chatters at any given time. Remember that this is a mailing list.
