Good day,
As an alternative to dual booting, you can try the linux counterparts
of Photoshop and Macromedia....I am not sure about Macromedia, but for
Photoshop, you'd usually hear Gimp.
Or, another alternative is to install wine in your ubuntu and try
running your XP programs in ubuntu.
