Hello guys,

The Computer Professional's Union is compiling Free software tools that will
be of use to different People's organizations.

Currently, there are may similar initiatives. However, we are
differentiating our effort through a very simple selection that in our
experience in working with them are the most essential.

What do we intend to do? Aside from compiling them in a cd (ala opencd or
ngo in a box) we will have installing manuals and user manuals for every
software in the compilation. Manuals should be customized to
_computer_literate_ users_. The language should be in _Filipino_ and an
english translation is a secondary option. But we would like the software to
have manuals on both languages. If you are more familiar with the english
language you can write the manual in english. We will then find volunteers
to translate your work. All our work will be released on appropriate free
license (creative commons perhaps) for proper attribution.

We also need creative ideas on how to layout this compilation on the cd. CD
covers and images as fillers perhaps, and other artworks are welcome.

if you can refer us to generous funders please do inform us through
rick.bahague at cp-union.org. To become a volunteer, please send an email to
rick.bahague at cp-union.org with your name and contact information and
topic you want to do.

This cd version will focus on security and privacy tools.

You can read the details at http://www.cp-union.org/cms/?q=node/45
