[Ubuntu-PH] Installation problem.

at first i thought it is a pre/post install script problem of deb package
management. but searching google directed me to launchpad. it seems you are
not the first to experience this. see bug report at
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-tools/+bug/9208

they have a brute solution:

I had an almost idendical problem on 6.06 LTS, but the broken links were

/etc/rc2.d/S91samba -> /samba
/etc/rc3.d/S91samba -> /samba

Obviously, there's no 'samba' in the root folder, so I just deleted these
dud links, ran "apt-get upgrade -f" and it seemed to resolve itself.

Maybe one of the recent packages was dodgy.
