hey,

thanks for all the feedback. i have been to linuxant and i do know my 
chipset but it became too much hardwork that i just threw my hands up 
and went back to windows. i ruined my ubuntu several times trying to 
install drivers. so i'm back to windows however much i may have dreaded 
it. 

thanks again.

when ubuntu becomes less difficult to maintain, i'll try again.
