Guys, please make sure that you've filed separate bug reports against
alsa-driver. This bug report is *only for Jim Rorie's hardware*.

Jim, please make sure that you try model=laptop-dmic in Lucid, i.e., the
following line should be in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-dmic

Please reboot after adding it and reproduce the symptom, then rerun
apport-collect 525149.

Remember, this is Jim's bug report!
