This position will primarily process data into various systems, along with maintaining job schedules and documentation. Other duties may include assisting in the analysis of client and vendor data requirements, defining data process flows, verifying the correctness and completeness of electronic data, reporting and correcting data issues, providing recommendations for improving data processing tasks, and administrating access to file transfer systems. Responsibilities: Successful candidates work closely and communicate with a variety of business users and must have in-depth and hands-on experience. Candidates should have proven experience in the following areas: Establishing and maintaining processing procedures for electronic data processing including data load requirements, customer/vendor contact information, and job schedules. Implementing new client and suppliers by working with business and data integration team members to define requirements and procedures. Monitoring and reporting on data or job processing issues as they are moved into production environments. Researching and resolving data quality or integration issues that are raised or escalated by clients or vendors. Providing production support for related data and job related applications which includes working with other IT team members to implement enhancements and correct defects. Performing quality assurance functions (test plans, functional and user testing). Working and communicating with cross-functional teams and customers. Generating reports and executing queries using the Cognos reporting application, as well as helping to support the business unit in regards to using Cognos. Position Requirements: 1-3 years progressively responsible experience in a technical production or applications support role. Prior experience with file transfer protocols and tools (FTP, SFTP, SSH, VPN). Exceptional analytic and troubleshooting skills. Strong documentation development and maintenance experience. Superior customer service skills, preferably in a technical implementation role. Ability to work individually, or in a team, under minimal supervision. Strong results orientation with the ability to consistently meet and exceed goals. Must be capable of making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time and on budget. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment Desired Experience & Skills (not Required) Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field and the ability to follow instructions and established guidelines to perform job functions. Adept at using computer office productivity software and various Windows operating systems. Demonstrate competency of hardware, software, systems, and all supported devices through the ability to distinguish between application, operating system, network, and hardware issues. Must have ability to relay moderately complicated technical information to a non-technical individual and the ability to interact effectively with end users. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must be able to adapt to changing work environment, and must be able to take direction, and prioritize work.
