Vivid & Openstack Installer ?

Hi, you should be able to get an install working on vivid.
However, there are a lot of moving parts here, so it's very possible to be
hitting a problem that doesn't have anything to do with noob-ness :)

Can you give more background? what version of the installer package were
you using, and what command line options did you try?
Does your lab have a firewall that requires an http proxy setup?

Also, if you were using a release version from the stable PPA, you might
find our experimental PPA with more recent changes will work better - see
https://launchpad.net/~cloud-installer/+archive/ubuntu/experimental
