Title:
  SEGFAULTs in v4.3

Status in nfs-ganesha package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  [ Impact ]

   * Users experience SEGFAULTs when Ganesha fails to communicate with
Gluster, causing the NFS share to disappear.

   * The patch refactors how free_space() is called to avoid the null
  pointer deference.

  [ Test Plan ]

   * The triggers for the issue are difficult to replicate and have to
do with the timing of Ganesha communicating with Gluster. I have
compiled the patch against version 4.3-8ubuntu1 of nfs-ganesha and it
resolved the issue on my system.

[ Where problems could occur ]

   * Possible memory leaks, however this change has been part of nfs-
  ganesha since v5. The latest version of nfs-ganesha is 5.7. I don't
  know of other related issues.

  [ Other Info ]
