Hi,

Thanks for reporting this. The ceph package, along with most others,
have moved to Python 3. python3-rados 13.2.4+dfsg1-0ubuntu2~cloud0 is
available in the Stein cloud archive.

We may want to look at removing outdated ceph binary from the stein
cloud archive pockets:

python-ceph
python-cephfs
python-rados
python-rbd
python-rgw

Thanks,
Corey

Title:
  Dependency issue in bionic-updates/stein

Status in Ubuntu Cloud Archive:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Currently, in bionic-updates/stein cloud mirror, the following unmet
  dependencies are found:

  Package: python-rados
  Version: 13.2.1+dfsg1-0ubuntu3~cloud0
  Depends: librados2 (= 13.2.1+dfsg1-0ubuntu3~cloud0)

  Package: librados2
  Version: 13.2.4+dfsg1-0ubuntu2~cloud0

Looks like python-rados for openstack cloud variant of bionic were not
  released along with Ceph 13.2.4.
