The commit referenced is in the datapath component of ovs, which builds
the dkms modules which Ubuntu no longer ships, so this fix would need to
be targetted directly at the kernel package (if its not already
included).

Bug description:
  Hi,

  in OpenStack we transitioning to Ubuntu-Xenial that contains openvswitch 2.5. Current package differs from branch-2.5 of uptream openvswitch and the package doesn't conatin following fix:

  Can please someone build a new package containing this fix? We're
  blocked by the bug in transition.
