As per comment above, switching to kernel project to backport the fix.
Current used ubuntu kernel is 4.4.0-34-generic

  Hi,

  in OpenStack we transitioning to Ubuntu-Xenial that contains openvswitch 2.5. Current package differs from branch-2.5 of uptream openvswitch and the package doesn't conatin following fix:
  https://github.com/openvswitch/ovs/commit/741f47cf35df2bfc7811b2cff75c9bb8d05fd26f

  Can please someone build a new package containing this fix? We're
  blocked by the bug in transition.
