[MIR] python-setproctitle
[Availability]
Currently in universe.
[Rationale]
Required by python-cotyledon.
[Security]
No security history.
[Quality Assurance]
Package works out of the box with no prompting. There are no major bugs in Ubuntu and there are no major bugs in Debian. There is one bug for Debian that is limited to running tests on BSD. [1]
[1] test suite fails for kfreebsd: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=583947
Py2 tests are run during the build. I've enabled these in the latest
upload to Ubuntu and submitted a patch to Debian. Note that py3 tests
aren't enabled due to: https://github.com/dvarrazzo/py-
setproctitle/issues/50
[Dependencies]
All are in main.
[Standards Compliance]
FHS and Debian Policy compliant.
[Maintenance]
Simple C package that provides a Python module, that the OpenStack Team will take care of.
[Background]
The library allows a process to change its title (as displayed by system tools such as ``ps`` and ``top``).
