Title:
Please upgrade python-keystoneauth1 for xenial
Status in python-keystoneauth1 package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
The main reason I would want this upgrade is the confusion regarding
the deprecation of the "username" vs. "user-name" options. This was
only resolved in upstream version 2.4.0 or later.
Current status is that when using "username" as option name in a
config file (say the [neutron] section of nova.conf), on will get a
deprecation warning, telling to use "user-name" instead. Using the
latter version does not work however. From 2.4.0 onwards also the
deprecation will be reversed, i.e. the "user-name" variant will be
deprecated and "username" will be the standard option again, see
https://review.openstack.org/287754 for the upstream patch.
Debian has just created a new version, it would also be nice to try to
stay in sync here: https://launchpad.net/debian/+source/python-
keystoneauth1/2.4.0-1
