oh at least there's some good news out of this bug. i'll try adding the
ubuntu packaging folks to the bug, but i'm going to mark it as invalid
for osc upstream development

Bug description:
  trying to set a remote identity provider for keystone on kilo with
  identity api v3.

  There seems to be a flag missing in my version of python openstack client.
  I want to set the remote id of an identity provider and am following the docs
  http://docs.openstack.org/developer/python-openstackclient/command-objects/identity-provider.html

  
  os identity provider set
      [--remote-id <remote-id> [...] | --remote-id-file <file-name>]
      [--description <description>]
      [--enable | --disable]
      <identity-provider>

  however I get

  openstack identity provider set
  usage: openstack identity provider set [-h] [--enable | --disable]
                                         <identity-provider>

  there is no --remote-id flag
