Amir,<br><br>I might be wrong, but I believe that if you want to run the FOSS ATI (or nVidia for that matter) drivers, you have to pretty much give up 3D effects. Try disabling desktop-effects, or if you really want to keep them, re-enable the restricted drivers and install the proprietary drivers.
