[ubuntu-nz] 11.04 freezes when playing dvd

A bit more information on this:
if you do 'top' and discover a process that is taking up too much
processor time then read the pid - process_id - from the left column
and type:
(sudo) kill process_id
This will kill the process. If the process is critical to the system
you will also kill your computer.
