[ubuntu-nz] updates not installing ??

That ' >> ~/updatefail.txt' bit would have just redirected most output to
that text file.
Of course I could be wrong about how much gets spat out to the screen.
Probably a cunning plan run it again without the '>> ~/updatefail.txt'
bits .. just to make sure ;)
