Hercules wifi-kaart werkt niet

Hoi,

voor een demo die ik binnenkort moet doen heb ik in m'n Asus laptop met
Hardy Heron een pcmcia kaartje, de Hercules G, aangeschaft.

Deze wordt door de site http://linux-wless.passys.nl als Groen aangeduid,
dwz GOED Linux-ondersteund.
Nu blijkt het dat die niet gescand geraakt, en de Ubuntu kernel heeft
duidelijk problemen om de juiste module te laden.

Ziehier een test-uitslagje; als iemand hetzelfde probleem heeft gehad en
suggesties heeft, welkom!
