If I understand correctly what you did was replacing some of the ALSA 
source code before building ALSA and then replace Ubuntu's snd-hda-intel 
driver with your self compiled one.

Btw, Guido Dom who submitted this bug has also posted about this 
problem on the (English language) ubuntu-users list. Maybe you two can 
best use that list and not this Dutch language list for this sound 
problem :-)
