Tja, Windows & DOS gebruiken ook een boot loader hoor, zo heeft IBM
begin jaren 1980 nu eenmaal het IBM PC BIOS ontworpen...  ;-)

De Ubuntu Desktop live & installatie CD vraagt dat niet, omdat de meeste
beginners niet begrijpen waar dat over gaat.
(De alternatieve installatie-CD vraagt het wel, denk ik.)

Natuurlijk werkt dat, op de bemerking over de live-CD hierboven na en
het feit dat bijna geen enkele recente PC nog een diskette drive heeft.
Ik zie ook het voordeel of nut er niet echt van in...
