It is in fact a problem that has been introduced by the kernel-option
CONFIG_USB_SUSPEND (which is marked as experimental). Disable that,
recompile the kernel and the stuff should work. I also got some
success reports, where libusb has been recompiled.


I received the above mentionned advice in order to make my Canon N670U
scanner eventually to start (it is recognised).

But How do disable (and where)
and How do I recompile the kernel?
