As you may or may not know, once a cycle ubuntu hosts a 'global jam',
during which we encourage users and fans of ubuntu to meet and
contribute to ubuntu in various ways.

I am reaching out to you to encourage your loco to host an event. You

In addition, next Wednesday August 20th 2014, at 1500 UTC myself and
Michael Hall will be hosting a session on ubuntuonair.com designed to
answer questions and help you plan your event. In case you are unable
to view the session, it will be recorded and available for viewing
once completed. In addition, myself and the other community team
members are all happy to answer any questions you may have, just ask.
