Hay algunos enlaces que tal vez te puedan servir.

Las tarjetas VIA no son muy recomendables para Linux, precisamente porque
siempre traen ese tipo de problemas. Sin embargo, la mayoría de las PC de
escritorio vienen con una tarjeta VIA.

En fin, en los siguientes enlaces podés encontrar los drivers de la tarjeta
