### Rocks Public Journal ###

The **FIPS-compliant and CIS/STIG-hardened Ubuntu Focal container image**
is getting into **IronBank**. Find the project [here](

### LXQt 2.1 Promises Experimental Wayland Session, Styling Improvements ###

Marius Nestor writes about a 'showcase' of LXQt 2.1 that is expected to
release in mid-November 2024. It includes an experimental Wayland session,
with support for a number of listed Wayland compositors. We're told the
'experimental' tag is there as not all LXQt features are supported
currently in Wayland.
