## LoCo News ##
### UbuCon Asia 2024 ###
Aryan Kaushik writes about UbuCon Asia 2024, with extra detail that was too
much for an earlier GNOME Asia post of his. We're given a history for the
decisions that lead to UbuCon Asia 2024, some of the challenges faced, and
told it all came together well. We're given some photos, told the event had
a slight financial surplus and where this money will go too. A link to an
'aftermovie' is provided, and discussion of the future plans too.

Michael Larabel tells us AMD has made another Vulkan driver update that
will benefit Linux gamers. We're reminded of the Vulkan 1.4 update, and
told AMDVLK 2024.Q4.3 now supports it too. We're also told some performance
tuning has made some games faster, given some other details, plus links to
the update & binaries available on GitHub.

### AMD Ryzen PCs May See More Power Savings Out-Of-The-Box With Linux 6.14
###
Michael Larabel informs us that AMD Ryzen users may see increased power
savings when using the Linux 6.14 kernel due to an AMD P-State driver
