Flocculant, on behalf of the Ubuntu Release Team, announces the first
beta of the Xenial Xerus, which is the upcoming 16.04 LTS release. He
informs us of the flavors and versions that have participated in the
release: Lubuntu, Ubuntu Cloud, Ubuntu GNOME, Ubuntu MATE, Ubuntu
Kylin, Ubuntu Studio, and Xubuntu. He goes on to explain where to
download the images and suggests that those interested in following
the development of the release subscribe to the ubuntu-devel-announce
mailing list.

Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition. She starts off by reviewing the design which
"feels like a premium device in the hand and, if it's priced below
PS400, could be one of the most expensive-looking smartphones in its
league." She then summarizes the display, software, performance, and
camera which "proved decent during our brief time with it, and managed
to capture images full of detail and natural colour even under the
harsh lighting of Canonical's stand." She concludes by sharing her
positive thoughts on how it will do in the market.
